Hello Students, Staff, and Community Members,

 

The Nanook News has been in production long before I came to Nome-Beltz.  The goal of this newspaper is to give the students an opportunity to express their ideas, passions, and concerns for their local community and the outside world.    Students in Yearbook/Journalism class keep up with current events and work to brainstorm ideas on possible story topics.  Sometimes it is simply the urge to know who, what, when, where, or why that drives our story selections.  Other times it is the suggestion of a friend, a teacher, or a parent that gets our ideas flowing.  Ultimately, it is our goal is to deliver the Nanook News to the students, staff, and community with creativity, accuracy, and enthusiasm.
