Standard Operating Procedures

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) is a document that is intended to establish a standard format for policies and procedures and to assist and guide the administrative staff of the District.  The SOPs adhere to Generally Accepted Accounting Standards (GAAS) and the Government Accounting Standards Board (GASB).  Many have been reviewed and approved by the Department of Education and the Alaska Association of School Business Officials.  All SOPs originate from the Superintendent. Principals, directors and other supervisory personnel are responsible for ensuring their compliance.  Any willful violation of SOPs must be reported to the Superintendent by any staff member having knowledge of such violation.  Please review SOPs contained herein.
