Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, Highly-Qualified Teacher
Mrs. Stotts
My name is Emily Stotts, and I teach 2nd Grade in Room 145. Nome is my hometown, and I went to Elementary School here in the building, was a student at the Anvil City Science Academy, and am a graduate of Nome-Beltz High School. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, and have eight years experience in 2nd grade, one year in 1st in my teaching career. I am highly-devoted to the classroom and the community; I enjoy volunteering, such as caring for school pets and managing paper recyclling, as well as serve as President on the Board of Directors for the local animal welfare non-profit PAWS of Nome. I am the youngest of 4 sisters, share a birthday with 5 members of my family (almost 6!), and I have a collection of Stephen Cosgrove Books. I live with 5 dogs, 1 cat, and 1 husband!
