I was born and raised in Central New York, traveling up North to the Adirondacks throughout my childhood. I believe that these family trips are the reason that Alaska was so attractive, as I came to love nature.
After graduation of high school, I took online classes through University of Phoenix to obtain my B.A. in Psychology. For a short time, I had no idea what career path I wanted to follow, but went with Social Work for my Master's program at Syracuse University. Two years flew by and a Master's degree obtained, my husband was offered a job in Alaska, and we decided to move ourselves and 4 dogs to the Land of the Midnight Sun!
In 2016 we moved to rural Alaska, learning new ways of life and gaining precious memories. In 2017, we were blessed with a baby boy, who brings so much joy and happiness to our little family. As time passed, we were called to Nome and we look forward to what our little family will experience while we are here!
