Nome Public Schools is pleased to announce that we are in the process of updating the PowerSchool Parent Portal to MyPowerHub (incorporating communications tools with parent access to student data for a more interactive solution).
Part of this process is the return to the use of SchoolMessenger (a PowerSchool owned product) for our community communications tool. In the coming days Parents, Guardians, Students, and Staff may receive an announcement from SchoolMessenger with OptIn / OptOut instructions.
We encourage you to OptIn to help stay connected for School communications (especially for the receipt of emergency notices / school closures). The SMS Short number for SchoolMessenger is the same as before "67587". If you previously opted in, you will not need to do anything but to be safe you may want to text Y to 67587 or use the QR code in the attached flyer.
