Meet Ayden Wickman
Hey, I'm Ayden! It is an honor to join Anvil City Science Academy family as your new Principal Teacher. I am so excited to work together with all the students, families, and staff here in Nome.
As a leader and a teacher, I believe that building strong, caring relationships is the most important part of school. When students feel safe, happy, and understood, they are ready to learn. I want our school to be a safe and predictable place where we hold everyone to high expectations, while giving them the love and support they need to succeed. I like to lead with humor, honesty, and kindness, and I promise to always listen and help.

I live here in Nome with my wife, Emily. We also have a busy house with our two cats, Fiske and Bodhi, and our two fish, Striker and Seneca.
