Biography

I was born and raised in Sitka, AK.  I pursued a degree in education from the University of Alaska Fairbanks which led me to teach middle school social studies at Nome-Beltz in 2013.  I did this for 3 years before deciding to pursue a counseling degree from UAF and transitioned into the school counselor position in January 2018.  I value being with my family, coffee, exercise, and self-sufficiency.  I met my wonderful husband here in Nome and we have 3 kids and 2 dogs.
