Paws Reading Celebrations

Nome Elementary is excited to be celebrating

reading!  Every week a new reading log goes home

for students to read 20 minutes a night.  We then ask the parents to sign the log and for it to be turned in for exchange of PAWS.  Once the class has aquired 20 PAWS they earn a Nanauyaat MoscotEmblem to hang on the wall of the school.  Each time the class earns a new mascot a new cheer is revealed to them.  This makes us excited because we let the students know that that 20 minutes of reading each evening helps them grow a full year more then if they did not.  We are a community of readers and we love it!
